After a few suggestions from you there is now an update of my Minecraft LED lamp.
Now you can’t see through to the LEDs and the cutouts are shining
more evenly. 🙂

Moin Thosa! Erstmal vielen Dank für die Idee, und den kostenlosen Plan dazu. Habe die Lampe vor 10 Tagen für meine Minecraft spielende Tochter gebaut. Dazu habe ich einen LED Streifen mit 60 LEDs auf den Meter um einen 25mm Buchenstab gewickelt. Allerdings habe ich gleich 2 mm Bastelglas eingeklebt, und nach innen hin noch selbsthaftende Milchglasfolie. Hatte dann ungefähr den Effekt wie nach deinem Update.
Im Übrigen gefällt mir deine ruhige Art. Auf YouTube sind schließlich schon genug selbsternannte Bastelkönige mit ausgeprägtem ADS unterwegs. Mach weiter so.

Ich hätte jetzt einfach das Plexiglas milchig geschliffen, aber das ist mal eine ganz neue Idee. Auf jeden Fall sieht das Licht besser besser aus als vorher weil man die "Birnchen" nicht mehr sieht. ???
die Verbesserungen sind meiner meinung nach wirklich gelungen 😉

When I have done similar light boxes I have done one of two things, just sanded or sprayed the plexiglass with frosting or I have used the plastic from the soap containers for my washing machine specifically the "ALL" clean and clear. I all I did was cut the top and bottom off and I had a cube shape that was already frosted. But the glue is a good idea just for larger type of cutouts may not be practical. But I dig it and I like it for small areas.

Did you try fine sandpaper to haze the acrylic so it would diffuse the light instead of hot glue filling?
sieht viel besser aus als vorher, sehr coole idee mit dem heißkleber
Ich hätte die Scheiben von außen fixiert, den Kleber von innen eingefüllt und danach die Scheiben außen wieder entfernt. Dann sieht das von außen nicht so eingefallen aus

Coole schaut jetzt noch geiler aus ??? Sollte ich es mal Nachbauen werde ich milchiges Plexiglas nehmen,dann braucht man nicht so viel Heißkleber Patronen ?? bin zu faul die Felder zu füllen ??
